Description

I do like plate design buckles but have to admit that my preference is always for designs that are not too rectangular and have a little more softness about them. This buckle fits the bill perfectly for me - the buckle size is not overwhelming, the sloped edges take away some weight and give a sleekness of look and the surface texture adds an organic charm. I am torn between seeing the surface as a mass of bubbles or the texture of a sea urchin shell...but either way it has a slightly mesmerising appeal. A lovely buckle for both casual wear or contemporary evening wear where you want to make a statement!

Buckle making remains a remarkably traditional skill with most of our designs initially crafted by hand in wax before being melted away to create a mould from which we can cast your buckle. Once cast the buckle is then sent away for the galvanic process which gives it its colour and then any additional details such as enamel or crystals are applied by hand. Whether being made in Italy, France, Mexico, USA or the UK the techniques used remain the same.

Orders made by midday BST will be despatched the same working day. Orders placed after this time will be dispatched on the next working day.

Orders are dispatched Monday to Friday (with the exception of Public Holidays) and delivered on working days.
