Let me make a case for yellow. A yellow belt sounds like a bold choice — and it is — but bold and hard to wear are very different things, and this one proves it. The Sunflower Cocco Jenny leather has a depth and complexity to it, the dark veins threading through the caiman texture giving the colour a richness that a flat yellow never could. It's vibrant without being aggressive, and against navy, black, dark denim or olive it does something that brown or black simply can't — it makes the whole outfit feel alive. There are times when the unexpected pairing is the right one, and taking this leather down to 30mm and pairing it with a high-shine gunmetal C buckle is exactly that. The dark, sleek gunmetal doesn't fight the yellow, it anchors it, picking up on the deep veining in the leather and turning what could have been a clash into something that feels completely considered. The C buckle is one of my favourites — clean, open and fluid, with just a hint of equestrian heritage in its shape. It gives the belt a lightness and flow that a more conventional frame wouldn't, the open form letting the Sunflower leather breathe rather than interrupting it. At 30mm the whole thing has a sleekness that feels refined, precise and just a little unexpected. For men, think about where yellow already lives in your wardrobe without you realising it — the fleck in a tweed, the stripe in a shirt, the lining of a jacket. This belt finds those moments and connects them. Wear it with dark indigo jeans and a white or navy shirt for a look that feels considered without being try-hard. It works equally well with stone or khaki chinos and a relaxed blazer for smart casual occasions where you want one thing to do the talking. For something more formal, slim charcoal or black trousers with a white shirt — the belt becomes the single point of colour and interest in an otherwise clean palette. For women the 30mm width is a particularly useful one — slim enough to work with everything from tailored cigarette trousers to a wrap dress, wide enough to register as a proper accessory rather than an afterthought. Try it threading through high-waisted cream or white trousers for a summer look that feels genuinely put together. With a black jumpsuit or midi dress it adds warmth and a flash of personality. And for those days when your whole outfit is neutral and needs one thing to bring it to life — this is that thing. As ever, this belt has been crafted by hand in our Spanish atelier, by craftspeople dedicated to belts and nothing else.
