Embossing Information

We are pleased to be able to offer an embossing service so that you can personalise your belts or accessories. Having your initials discreetly embossed adds a classy finishing touch and of course if you are buying something as a gift then adding initials is really lovely detail.

So...a few things to know about our embossing service :

What can I emboss?

You are able to emboss up to 3 initials without spaces/punctuation. For the moment we cannot emboss numbers or dates but hope to be able to offer this service soon.

Font type / Size

Our letters are UPPERCASE in Times New Roman font - the font is 6mm high

What items can I emboss?

Any belt and most accessories can be embossed subject to space. We can emboss on both plain or textured leather (so either on the inside or outside) but please bear in mind that if we emboss on textured leather there is a chance that you will see small breakage lines in the foil due to the uneven nature of the surface.

What positions can I have my items embossed in?

Belts can be embossed in 2 different positions, either towards the tip end of the belt or close to the buckle end. The Initials can be embossed in either landscape or portrait orientation. All of these options will be offered when adding personalisation to your cart. By default we emboss on the INSIDE of belts. If you would like us to emboss on the OUTSIDE please let us know this in the customer comment section and we will do our best to accommodate dependent on leather type)

For accessories due to the variety of permutations we have to use our best judgement as to where to place the emboss. When adding personalisation to your cart you will have the option to select to have the embossing either inside or outside. Our embossing specialist will then use his discretion to select the best location for embossing.

How much does it cost?

We offer a standard price of £15 for up to 3 letters.

How long will this take?

If you choose to have initials added to one of your purchases please allow 7 days from the date of order for the item to be ready for shipment. 

Exchange/Refund/Returns

Once an item is personalised it unfortunately cannot be exchanged or refunded. We can of course still shorten any belt style that is too large.

Description

There are combinations that work for reasons you can explain, and combinations that work for reasons you can only feel. This is one of the latter — and I think that is precisely what makes it so compelling.The warm, supple vegetable tanned leather with its distinctive etched line surface and rich orangey tan tone is a leather of genuine character — the cross-hatched pattern pressed into its face giving it an organic, almost hand-drawn quality that no two belts will replicate identically. And the new hammered square buckle in aged gold — its slightly irregular outline, the gently undulating frame that refuses to be quite perfectly square — seems to speak the same language. Maybe it is the shared unevenness, the sense that both leather and buckle have been shaped by hand rather than machine, that makes the pairing feel so entirely natural. Or maybe it is simply that some things just belong together and the best you can do is trust the instinct.The aged gold finish deepens the warmth of the tan leather beautifully — the two settling into the same rich, earthy register with a mellow harmony that feels completely unhurried. The open frame of the buckle lets the etched leather breathe through the centre, adding yet another layer to a combination that rewards every closer look.Handcrafted in our Spanish atelier, this is a belt I find myself returning to — and I am still not entirely sure I can tell you exactly why. Perhaps that is the best recommendation of all.How to wear it: Made for the casual end of the wardrobe — denim, chinos, moleskin — where the warm tan and aged gold feel completely at home. A belt that improves with age, wear, and the stories it accumulates along the way.

Delivery & Returns

Delivery

Orders made by midday BST will be despatched the same working day. Orders placed after this time will be dispatched on the next working day.

Orders are dispatched Monday to Friday (with the exception of Public Holidays) and delivered on working days.
