Embossing Information

We are pleased to be able to offer an embossing service so that you can personalise your belts or accessories. Having your initials discreetly embossed adds a classy finishing touch and of course if you are buying something as a gift then adding initials is really lovely detail.

So...a few things to know about our embossing service :

What can I emboss?

You are able to emboss up to 3 initials without spaces/punctuation. For the moment we cannot emboss numbers or dates but hope to be able to offer this service soon.

Font type / Size

Our letters are UPPERCASE in Times New Roman font - the font is 6mm high

What items can I emboss?

Any belt and most accessories can be embossed subject to space. We can emboss on both plain or textured leather (so either on the inside or outside) but please bear in mind that if we emboss on textured leather there is a chance that you will see small breakage lines in the foil due to the uneven nature of the surface.

What positions can I have my items embossed in?

Belts can be embossed in 2 different positions, either towards the tip end of the belt or close to the buckle end. The Initials can be embossed in either landscape or portrait orientation. All of these options will be offered when adding personalisation to your cart. By default we emboss on the INSIDE of belts. If you would like us to emboss on the OUTSIDE please let us know this in the customer comment section and we will do our best to accommodate dependent on leather type)

For accessories due to the variety of permutations we have to use our best judgement as to where to place the emboss. When adding personalisation to your cart you will have the option to select to have the embossing either inside or outside. Our embossing specialist will then use his discretion to select the best location for embossing.

How much does it cost?

We offer a standard price of £15 for up to 3 letters.

How long will this take?

If you choose to have initials added to one of your purchases please allow 7 days from the date of order for the item to be ready for shipment. 

Exchange/Refund/Returns

Once an item is personalised it unfortunately cannot be exchanged or refunded. We can of course still shorten any belt style that is too large.

Description

I'll admit it — this one makes me smile every time I look at it. And I think that is exactly the point. The warm, supple vegetable tanned leather with its distinctive etched cross-hatch surface has been the foundation for some genuinely considered belt combinations in this collection. This one takes a different turn entirely — and does so with complete, joyful conviction. The aged gold turtle buckle is a piece of cast sculpture that would stop you in your tracks on its own merits: four textured flippers outstretched in mid-glide, a beautifully detailed head peering forward, and at the centre a domed shell with a geometric hexagonal pattern that catches the light with a warm, polished gleam. And here is the detail I love most about this particular combination — the shell pattern and the etched leather are in quiet, deliberate conversation. The intersecting lines pressed into the tan leather and the geometric facets of the turtle's shell share the same graphic, grid-like language, one organic and hand-drawn in feel, the other precise and architectural. Did I plan that? Honestly, some things just reveal themselves and you have the sense to say yes. Whether it reads as intentional design or happy accident rather depends on who is looking — and either answer seems entirely valid to me. The aged gold finish gives the turtle a warmth that sits beautifully against the tan leather, the two inhabiting the same sun-warmed, earthy world. Handcrafted in our Spanish atelier, this is a belt that brings genuine joy — and a conversation starter into the bargain. How to wear it: Wear with denim, chinos, or shorts and let the turtle do all the talking. A belt for the days when you want to feel a little lighter, a little more playful, and entirely yourself. Life is too short for boring belts.

Delivery

Orders made by midday BST will be despatched the same working day. Orders placed after this time will be dispatched on the next working day.

Orders are dispatched Monday to Friday (with the exception of Public Holidays) and delivered on working days.
