In case you are wondering what this buckle is all about I should explain - its name 'Tres Luchas' translated into English means 'Three Bouts' but what does that have to do with the masked heads that protrude from the surface of this buckle? Well, these masks are the trademark of Mexican wrestling, with each fighter being distinguished by the often spectacular artwork and colour of their specific mask. These fighters do not go for garish costumes, but it is just the mask that both creates their persona while hiding their true identity! So there you go...Anyway, most importantly this makes for an extremely cool buckle that will absolutely be a talking point whenever you wear it. It is made in solid brass with each of the little masks individually set into its own frame. The detail is wonderful, the antique feel endearing. We have 2 of these buckles only, both handcrafted for us in Mexico, so if you end up being the lucky owner you can be sure that you will be wearing a truly limited edition piece.

Buckle making remains a remarkably traditional skill with most of our designs initially crafted by hand in wax before being melted away to create a mould from which we can cast your buckle. Once cast the buckle is then sent away for the galvanic process which gives it its colour and then any additional details such as enamel or crystals are applied by hand. Whether being made in Italy, France, Mexico, USA or the UK the techniques used remain the same.

Delivery

Orders made by midday BST will be despatched the same working day. Orders placed after this time will be dispatched on the next working day.

Orders are dispatched Monday to Friday (with the exception of Public Holidays) and delivered on working days.
