Embossing Information

We are pleased to be able to offer an embossing service so that you can personalise your belts or accessories. Having your initials discreetly embossed adds a classy finishing touch and of course if you are buying something as a gift then adding initials is really lovely detail.

So...a few things to know about our embossing service :

What can I emboss?

You are able to emboss up to 3 initials without spaces/punctuation. For the moment we cannot emboss numbers or dates but hope to be able to offer this service soon.

Font type / Size

Our letters are UPPERCASE in Times New Roman font - the font is 6mm high

What items can I emboss?

Any belt and most accessories can be embossed subject to space. We can emboss on both plain or textured leather (so either on the inside or outside) but please bear in mind that if we emboss on textured leather there is a chance that you will see small breakage lines in the foil due to the uneven nature of the surface.

What positions can I have my items embossed in?

Belts can be embossed in 2 different positions, either towards the tip end of the belt or close to the buckle end. The Initials can be embossed in either landscape or portrait orientation. All of these options will be offered when adding personalisation to your cart. By default we emboss on the INSIDE of belts. If you would like us to emboss on the OUTSIDE please let us know this in the customer comment section and we will do our best to accommodate dependent on leather type)

For accessories due to the variety of permutations we have to use our best judgement as to where to place the emboss. When adding personalisation to your cart you will have the option to select to have the embossing either inside or outside. Our embossing specialist will then use his discretion to select the best location for embossing.

How much does it cost?

We offer a standard price of £15 for up to 3 letters.

How long will this take?

If you choose to have initials added to one of your purchases please allow 7 days from the date of order for the item to be ready for shipment. 

Exchange/Refund/Returns

Once an item is personalised it unfortunately cannot be exchanged or refunded. We can of course still shorten any belt style that is too large.

Description

Now here is a fresh take on a black belt for you to consider. Our brand new Wave texture unlined belt has been crafted from a smooth vegetable tanned leather with deep wavelike patterning throughout. Unlike many of our vegetable tanned leathers this one is smooth with a slightly futuristic matt, almost rubberized feel to it. Totally uniform jet black in colour. It is a superb backdrop for any number of buckles but we decided to try it with an aged silver tone contemporary prong design that has a cool curved edge shape and notably 4 deep slices onto top and bottom edge that definitely pick up on the texture in the leather below. A superb casual belt but also one that could be worn on flatter textured trousers or dresses to add depth and variety. A great and fresh wardrobe addition!

This belt has been handmade by our specialist craftsmen in Spain. Each belt we make is crafted using the traditional beltmaking skills and techniques that are so valued in a country with a long and distinguished history of leather working. The end result is a unique Elliot Rhodes design that has been brought to life with great care, attention and passion.

Delivery & Returns

Delivery

Orders made by midday BST will be despatched the same working day. Orders placed after this time will be dispatched on the next working day.

Orders are dispatched Monday to Friday (with the exception of Public Holidays) and delivered on working days.
