Vogue World made its debut three years ago, taking place in the streets of New York - turning a open stretch in downtown Manhattan into a runway. Each year since then has been an exploration of art and fashion combined and this year was no different. The 2025 edition of Vogue World was named 'Hollywood' - the intersection of film and fashion was a blend that felt luxurious and truly harmonious.
This year vogue focused on seven main film genres and allocated each portion to the seven main fashion houses in the industry. This included:
Hollywood Glamour: represented by Prada
The Renegades: represented by McQueen
Historical Heroines: represented by Louis Vuitton
Summer of Love: represented by Marc Jacobs
Avant-Garde: represented by Valentino
Afrofuturism: represented by Balmain
New World: represented by Alaia
Not only were the theatrics of the event monumental, but 100% of the proceeds were donated to the Entertainment Community Fund to help struggling costume designers who were impacted by the Los Angeles wildfires.
Progressing further we will be taking a look at some of our favourite looks from the show and pairing them with existing pieces in our Elliot Rhodes Collection.

This first look was taken from The Renegades, represented by the powerhouse known as Alexander McQueen. This Tim Burton inspired collection paid the perfect homage to the genre, drama and theatrics paraded across the catwalk in a manor that was hauntingly poetic, darkly romantic, and unmistakably McQueen.
For this collection we have a few belts that we can suggest for our current Elliot Rhodes collection. Starting off strong with our Shaft Design Black Furled Cross Studded Belt - the perfect blend of gothic style and antique flair, weaving darkness and decadence into every silhouette.

This second look comes from the final genre, New World directed by the powerhouse Alaia. Known for their sculptural cuts, unique craftsmanship, and shape-driven creations - this collection was a divine curation of everything luxurious.
To do this section justice the best belt for this would have to be our Snow Black Genuine Ostrich Leopard Belt. Whilst this belt carries a playful undertone, the refined elegance of its exotic ostrich leather renders it both luxurious and truly one of a kind. Paired with our Snow Leopard buckle, this embodiment of feline femininity becomes the perfect complement to this act within Vogue World - a seamless balance of power, poise, and allure.

The third and final look is supported by the act, Summer of Love, curated by Marc Jacobs. Hunter Shafer was seen parading the runway in Tilda Swinton's costume from Orlando.
Refined patterns, a dramatic silhouette, and velvet materials finished with intricate embroidery - this was the definition of romantic allure. Working with the rich tones of brown and gold, our selection for this act would have to be our Sunburst Crystal Walnut Metallic Mock Croc Belt. Walnut brown with a metallic undercoat, a glazed finish and a crystal centre piece to add an extra level of dramatic decadence.
Vogue World 2025: Hollywood was more than a celebration of fashion - it was a living film reel of artistry, emotion, and imagination. Each act unfolded like a scene from cinema’s golden archive, where couture met character and storytelling came alive on the runway. From gothic opulence to romantic grandeur, the night paid homage to the power of costume as narrative - proving that in the world of fashion, every stitch has a story, and every look, a legacy.
